Got a late start this morning because we decided to sleep in. It's been a long week at work for b I th of us so we really needed it. Since we were later than usual we decided to revisit the park. I expected to find a little clad but personally I was trying to listen and learn to really pay attention to the tones before digging. I tend to overlook signals that arent coins. Well, I think it paid off. My very first signal by one of the sidewalks I got a ston signal. It was bouncing a little but only by a few points. I checked it for iron first bc there are a boatload of bottle caps here and I still can't always pick them out. Still sounded sweet, so I dug. I pulled the plug and hit it wuth my pointer. At first glance I thought it was a blasted bottle tab but once i pushed the dirt out of the middle, I realized I had found my 3rd ring. I dont think its silver, there is no 92.5 anywhere but its still totally intact and has some designs on the band. What a way to start a hunt. Wish I could say I got alot more but not really. The ring was 6 inches deepright next to the sidewalk. It cleaned up good. Wish I knew what kind of metal it was since it has no rust whatsoever?? Any ideas? Aluminum maybe? I also found an old rusty child's butterfly charm bracelet, an old key (my first), and some clad. Thanks for looking and HH!

Can you see anything on the inside of the ring, KyDigNQueen? When held in the hand, the ring looks golden.

Thats one nice looking ring.

Nice looking ring. I'd say aluminum, if it feels real light, or else stainless steel.

Looks like you got out an had fun. Most important aspect of the hobby. Nice

Looks like you had a fun day. Congratulations on the ring.

A ring is a ring, congratulations! :occasion14:

Congratulations on the ring !! What kind of signal did you get on it ? I have found a couple titanium rings with my AT pro and they hit a solid 55 and they are very light . Hope this helps ..
