Ring question

I found my first pretty ring, made my heart jump! It is gold in color and has diamond-like stones. There is a mark inside that is very small. It looks like this: (C) Any ideas what that means?: I keep straining looking for a big 10K! Thanks!

Hmmm...(c) usually just means "copyright". Use a magnifying glass and some good light and see if you can see anything else. Gratz on the ring

Are there any other markings? A picture of the ring could possibly help in determining if it is fine or costume jewelry.

If the C is before a Z, as in CZ.....it stands for cibic zircon or fake diamond. Hope it not the case for you.

I have used a strong magnifier and that is all I can see. There is no CZ. Really weird. I will take it to a jeweler and have them test the metal and stones. Thanks for your ideas everyone!

do you have Macro on your camera? flower icon...if so take picture of the marks in side the ring...

Looks like gold in the pic. Sometimes if the ring has been worn alot, the markings can be worn off. Be sure to let us know what the jeweler says. And, if you're going to keep finding the bling, you can pick up a diamond testing for less than $100.

I agree, it does look like the real thing! Have it tested for sure.

Your marks are where your fingers are usually. Get you a magnifing glass. See if you can see a mark. Looks nice though. I bet it is real gold. That Ace 250 is the man isn't it. I am taking mine back out tonight see if I can score some more goodies. Congratulations on your ring it is a beauty.
