Ring with unusual or foreign lettering!!!

hi all ....was out with the garrett euro ace today....was in local woods to me ( south west england)....dug this ring about a 1ft down..although its gold in colour it has no gold stamps on it...so prob not real gold...im a bit confused what the letterings on it may mean..any help greatly appreciated..............thanks in advance

Depth does not always = age. The deepest dime I ever dug (10") was a 1996. BOY was I disappointed. People do a lot of things to disrupt the soil.
