Hi everyone, haven't posted in awhile been digging in a dump I think it was an old concession stand dump from the WWI era tons of sodas coming out! I found my first straight sided coke and many more cool bottles today. Anyway, please enjoy some old glass photos kind of playing with light learning to photograph glass better. Happy hunting and thanks for looking.

Hi everyone, haven't posted in awhile been digging in a dump I think it was an old concession stand dump from the WWI era tons of sodas coming out! I found my first straight sided coke and many more cool bottles today all by noon. Dug so many 1915 patent cokes I have to go back with several large boxes and newspapers to collect them (probably forty or so all Front Royal,VA). Anyway please enjoy some old glass photos kind of playing with light learning to photograph glass better. Happy hunting and thanks for looking.

How do you know where to start digging for bottles?

I noticed shards of glass and square nails in the dirt when it was wintertime and probed it with a T-handled pipe probe this spring, heard the crunchiness of dump/privy iron rust layer and dug it...scattered foundation stones originally alerted me to the site its a good soda/beer dump

I'd be interested in one of those 1915 Cokes if you can spare a nice one for a fair price. I have a couple Hobbleskirt Cokes.. This is about half of them
