I'm not sure, but sure would like to find out. I live in Edinburg and there are a few of us here at work that md. Though we have only gotten together once, we look forward to doing more of it. I think that there are several people that belong to this site that are from the valley. Maybe someday, we can schedule a good get together.

I live in Brownsville, keep me posted of any get togethers. Also if anyone knows of any good sites we might search together.

OK, I know this thread is old but I thought I might respond if anyone might be interested. I was at that first meeting in Weslaco with txkickergirl and several others. Lots of things has happened since then. I want to think txkickergirl for all her hard work and time spent in getting our club up and running and for the website she built. Txkickergirl has since moved from 'The Valley' and is so busy at work that she has let her website expire. Not to worry, as I have built our club a website. Come visit and register at the website, here: Rio Grande Valley Metal Detecting Club . Our club, The Rio Grande Valley Metal Detectors Club' meets once a month and the particulars are always posted on the forum, so come on over and visit.
