And that is about it to. Not much on this little venture. On & off rain showers and blowing purdy good also. But the tide was low and I wanted to go try some spots. The finds are from 4 different sites & 1 indian site. The indian site gave up the small little glass bead & the bone with the hole in it.They were a little different for me anyway as not many beads found here on the coast and I've never found one made of glass aways clay & think dad has a few made of stone.Otherwise it was just a get out for me.Did find this kit also that was washed up at one of the sites not sure about it maybe military :dontknow: or could just be from a boat as the intercoastal water way is near by.But seems like it's still sealed up.But looks like a major type of kit just from what it says it contains. Not something I would think the average Joe carry's around. :-\

very cool bead, must add it to the wifes neck  :icon_thumright:

The bone with the hole is a broken gorget...nice find!

Quick clot is military issue. We carried them in our first aid pouches when I was in Afghanistan.

Hey Pete Those tidal places can give up some old and interesting finds :icon_pirat: Indian artifacts are always a great hunt ! Nice work

The aide kit is civilian. The markings are civilian. Yes, the military uses quick-clot, but its not exclusive.

I like the pot shards, good hunt.

nice potery shardes :icon_thumleft: MR TUFF

Thanks Guy's I use the shards in the tops of my flower pots here to dress them up.Also have a guy who buys them from time to time and makes displays to sell.I'm enjoying the Double Confederate Rose right now as it's doing it's thing.Have to excuse the coolers on the patio going to get 230lbs of shrimp so I was washing them out.
Take Care,
Pete :hello:

Some nice little finds...
I gotta ask - what do you figure the teeth are? Horse, deer? I've picked up a number of 'em as well from my riverside excursions.

I always find mine mostly around these indian shell beds, and here the indians were purdy much gone by the early 1700's.So to big for deer, also the last of any bison spoke of was gone around that time.So bison, horse, some maybe cow,& I do have some hog teeth also. This post shows how many I find around here.
