My usual boxes have been lame recently so I stopped by the credit union and picked up $1,200 and headed out to a small town nearby. Hit the 8 banks asking the tellers for half dollar coins, most say how many do you want, I say all of them please. I tell them that I just started coin collecting and I'm searching for all the dates to fill a card. One bank had $420 hand rolled and she even gave me a cloth bag to carry them in, my first one. Another bank had $360 in rolled halves and a third bank had $130.
From the 8 banks I brought home $1,082 to search. Not the best day, only 5 40% and one "token". Two rolls had "don't sell" and "don't give out" written on them, nothing worth keeping inside either roll.
Tomorrow is garbage day so I included a photo of my boxes saved for recycling.

Tuesday I picked up the usual two boxes, still poor, 2-40% and 1- 90% (1964). Today stopped at two banks, $80 at first and $57 at the second and found nothing!!
