I had a great hunt the other day. I was metal detecting a construction site, finding old printing plates. Poked my shovel around a little and dug a dozen bottles. Usually I have to work very very hard to find bottles. The Hutch says Rocky Mountain Bottling Works Victor Colo. I have dug a few before and the embossing is always weak on these. I thought it was blank untill I got it home. The large medicine has a hole in the back. Big medicines hardly survived due to the thin glass. The hole was old so at least it wasn't me. It says Geo and Swem Victor Co. Consumption bottles and another cobalt Wyeth poison.
The floats were a garage sale score, I have always wanted some. Two are embossed, 2 dog bones. The cobalt swirl ones are beautiful. Couldn't believe 20 dollars with basket. I searched Japanese floats on Tnet and saw a great Alaska video where they scoop them up by the dozens. Hope you dig something good this summer!!!
