Today I went to the bank and picked up $250 in dimes and $200 in halves. I also got lucky and for the first time since I've been a member they had Eisenhower Dollars. They had 15 total, so I get them all. I haven't looked at anything yet, but I'll take some pictures of my finds (fingers crossed) after I'm done searching.

Sounds cool! eisenhowers are worth something over face value if in decent condition.

Keep us posted.

I got $131 in halves today - one 40% half in them.

Also got $200 in dimes. through $30 of it so far - so far nada.

This is a blast ><

Here is what I got today:

Eisenhower Dollars:
1971-D - 2
1972 - 3
1972-D
1974-D - 6 (3 of these are in great condition with nice sharp edges)
1776-1976-D - 3

1981-S Proof Kenney Half Dollar

1952-D Silver Roosevelt Dime

Not a bad day, especially since I got the Eisenhowers :)

Nice stuff! i forget what eisenhowers go for but they are def. worth over .50 cents :D

Over the years of saving halves and dollars...I currently have 53 halves and 28 dollars, one a 1923..
I wish I had more time to do the bank thing...Just not enough hours in the day...

Happy hunting..

Looks like the bank gave you some nice finds. Congrats. This is always a good project for a rainy or snowy day.

Haha, well sometimes I wish I DIDN'T have this much free time. ;)

IKe dollars can sell for at least 1.25$ or 1.50. THats what most dealers sell them for. Value will change based on their condition.
