✅ SOLVED Roman coin? Replica? Or game piece?

Found this afternoon near early 1800’s foundation in W. PA in the park woods. I’ve found coins here from the 1700’s to modern, plus typical modern junk like vape pens, etc. Is this a reproduction of a Roman coin, game piece? It range up at 14 on the Nox, crumbly, so either old pewter (slight silvery finish), or modern pot metal. I could probably clean the reverse a bit more. Any ideas?

Curious find.

Looks like it has been copied from or styled on a Greek silver tetradrachm. Just as a broad comparison, this one is Mithradates VI (75-74 BC) but there are dozens of other possibilities, both BC and AD.

I can't make out the reverse design or the legend, but there seem to be the letters "....ALV...' at 12 o'clock in your first picture. The A (as a capital letter) would have a place in the Greek alphabet, but not the L or the V (except as lower case letters, which would usually be shown smaller).

I think it's probably some kind of fantasy item but, in any case, an ancient coin from Greece wouldn't be made from metal that exhibits such poor quality.

Thanks for your thoughts. I cleaned the reverse a bit more. Looks like a human / bird creature Ibis). I’m thinking it is a reproduction of an ancient Egyptian coin. I know Egyptian art, jewelry were very popular in the US in the early 1900’s. Maybe it was from the 1920’s.
