I got my hands on a "Clean your own roman coins" deal but Man. It's not as easy as I thought.
I have some really encrusted pieces. so far I'm working with Soap and water and now have gone to Olive oil.
I read that this method can take a long time. after all the work involved I'm afraid i may just end up with some bronze disks with no detail.
Anyone had any experience with this?
