This find suggests that there was close contact between the Roman empire and Scandinavia, before and after the emperor's reign.

Bit of a stretch... all it means for certain is that at some time after this thing was made it ended up there :D
 

There's no way that was buried and looks to be in that condition. If it wasn't buried where was it? something smells fishy
 

No problem explaining that. Big Roman presence in England until c.400 - and when they collapsed the Norse and Danes had a fine time pillaging the Island before moving west and Saxonizing it.
