We had this field in reverse until we had tried the 2 new target fields (which turned out to be low yield).
Today was on & off light rain until the end of the hunt when we got caught out by the heavy rain & got soaked! However, we did nearly make 5 hours of gridding which is more than we expected.

23 Roman Bronze Coins
Roman Fibula
Roman Bracelet Bit
Debased Roman Silver of Sev. Alex.

Ps. Forgot this. No idea why you would use this in a ploughed field.:laughing9:

I've seen guys using this kind of digger in the field. Not very succesful in the detecting/digging ratio. Don't you find knee pads nearby? :laughing9:
You did well on the small coins today! Good hunt!

Yeah, Cru. I'm more interested in the baskets too!

CRU,
I'm more interested in the basket filled with coins !!
Don.....
Just my scrap lead baskets. Cash it in every 5 years or so

Nice low yield hunt, impressive, congrats & HH

Yeap we are in the low yield end of the Site. It will only get worse on the last hunt as we will be on the fringes of that area. Although if you don't check it all, that's when you miss that 1 great find.

Nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Great finds as always.

I sure love seeing those old faces! 5 hours seems like a long time but I think one of those coins would keep me there that long. Very nice!!!!
