Our plan to finish gridding all the Roman Lion Site in the morning, pretty much worked out with 99% of it covered in 3 hours. Job done.
We have had 145 Roman Bronze Coins, 5 Roman Silver & 6 Hammered - A good year for this site. The good conditions & both of us with 11 inch coils on the Deus I & II also played a part.
3 Hours;
19 Roman Bronze Coins
Broken Hammered Italian Soldino

After lunch we moved to Split-Site East (another Roman Site). We did 2 hours 45 mins & did better than expected;
18 Roman Bronze Coins (we only got 8 2 years ago, but 2 silvers & a hammered)
Iron Age (Celtic) Fibula

Very Nice!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

Picking the tiny ones! Low and slow.... I know you don't swing slow, your fields must have much less trash than ours.

Not slow as such but a little more carefully listening for faint signals.
