Well, not really...
However, Since I got my detector a few weeks ago, I have been hitting the beaches as often as possible (which is never enough).
I hunted OBX three weeks ago, didnt find anything...that was my first time out....
Since then I have hunted VB several times.... always found clad...never been skunked there...
I also went down to Sandbridge, found lots of clad there too
Hunted around our lake house back in SC, found some clad there too and some other cool things
This week I've been hunting East Beach @ Ocean View. Found a couple of dollars in clad, and earring, lots of grey matter and a few hot rocks.
And yes the usual bottle cap and pull tab or two...LOL
No bling yet, and no old coins yet, but I am having a blast!
The AT Pro is handling the beaches very well. I've had no real issues with it in the surf. In fact some of the clad I found has been in knee deep water. And some in damp sand has been fairly deep...over 8 inches and one coin I remember was at least a foot deep. So I'm pleasantly pleased so far, even though I'm still learning the machine.....
