🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Rosette or something else? Thoughts?

Hey i found this the other day and i was wondering if it was a bridal rosette or possibly something else. Thoughts? I couldnt find anything online with the same design. Any idea on dates? The area i found it in has a history that dates back to the 1700s and includes a decent amount of native American traffic. THANKS!

Looks like loop mounting points for a rosette to me. Purdy fancy...
