✅ SOLVED Round domed iron piece

Found this in an old trash dump with stuff no older than the 1940s. It is 4 1/2 lbs and nearly 15” in diameter. It has a slight dome shape similar to a cymbal. Any ideas??

He said 15" in diameter in the original post. That would not be too small for a disc.
