Hey Rowdy bunch just thought you might want to know about JD. I recieved this e-mail from JD.
"hey bud i got the addresses, i have pnumonia bad... at this point im basically bedridden doctor says rest and sleep it will take weeks to recover i can barley breathe, i may wind up hospitalized im not sure yet ... as soon as I can get around i will send out the coins please tell everyone to be patient.. thanks bud ...jd" Those who won coins will have to wait.

Hope every one is finding lots since the CTH hunt. Take care.

Hope all is going well with you and yours, Burdie. Things have finally settled down here and I, myself am trying to get in all the detecting I can before the snow fly's.....lol., but as usual it is never enough......HH, Stan...........gregd573

Sorry about the illness JD......But could you at least send us a picture of the coppers that we won.... What I'll do in the mean time is stretch and skew the pic to shrink it down in order to put it in my coin binder. Then when you've sent the coins out I will replace the picture with the actual coin......Sounds good too me.... At least I'll have something!

Hope all my CTH friends are digging the good stuff.....Keep those shovels too the ground!!!!!

::)

Hey will that work RR? If so I am going to scan and print and shrink a BUNCH of stuff!!!! Do you think I can post it as found? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey what a super idea.!!! I will never have to hunt again! I can just take pictures of stuff and post it as what I found. That was a great idea RR you have saved me many hours of angst, depression and embarassment for only being able to find junk. :D ;D :D ;D :D ;D

I knew I liked you for some reason, You funny man Ridge very funny.

I talked to JD,or,that is,I tried to talk to him.He was coughing something terrible and couldn't say two words at a time.I told him to get over a vaporizer asap.We only talked about three minutes and most of that was just listening to him hack. He's got it bad.

well heck if that works RR...never guess waht I found ;)

JD ... the hacking crud is never fun. All I can recall from last year was mine hurt like hell. Dr. didn't tell me to get sleep or anything, just hard hittin antibotics (I might as well been bed ridden, was toilet ridden instead ;D).

JD, if it wasn't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all! >:( Get well. -Noodle

I hope you get to feeling all better very soon! :)

Dangman, I wish you better health soon, keep us posted

Man I wish I saw this post before, but I have barely been online and even less at T-Net I just do a quick look at "recent finds" and leave I think "RidgeRunner" had a "great" idea about the pictures of the coins...I have a pile of coppers I have never even cleaned only mud has been washed off the coins, while living in PA. i found coppers like wheat pennies. I clean about 1 a month and add them to the collection since coppers are hard to find out here in Mo.
Ok im gonna take a pic of the pile of coppers I have.. the winners can look at the pick enlarge it copy it and pick out the copper they want from the pile...just use paint and circle or X the specific copper you want and Ill send that one. and I will take a close up of the pic and send it. Im planning on sending the coins out tomorrow if the weather holds up, that way I dont have to pick one out for you. I will post the pic in the next 15. min.
These are all coppers farthings and halfpennies non are american coins most are from the 1700's some are in the 1800's .
I shouldnt have said none are american most of the colonial coins were counterfeit ones made in america so you never know.... :)

OK here they are the green ones have a thick layer of crude on them but cleaning sometimes finds lots of detail, the dark ones are almost worn slick some have details they do not need cleaning, the copper looking ones have some detail they were found in the delaware river and have been very worn from rubbing against sand.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, JD. Guess who's in MO stuck in the snow...he knew better to take a road trip north. :o

;) RR

Glad you're doing better. I've had a bit of chest congestion for about 3 weeks myself. It just seems to linger. I'm not prejudiced so brown, green, black, or grey and thank you.

I'll let you pick the best one for mine JD.

Thanks
