Royal Crown Derby Trinket Box : I can't find any info anywhere

I have a royal Crown Derby trinket box that I picked up at an estate sale a few years ago. The purpose was to resell.
But I can't find anything about this piece.
I have been amazed at the help I've gotten on this site for my metal detecting finds, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone here could help me out.
Not only can I not find any info about this particular box, but I can not find anything similar. Meaning anything that has an animal on the lid, as this does.
The makers mark dates it to 1939.
It measures 6 inches by 4 inches. The pheasant is 3 inches tall.
My main question is value. But also what it should be called (trinket box?), and why can't I find these kind of items on the net? Is this one "special"?
Anyone have any knowledge of this, or have an idea where I can look?
