WOW!!!! Love this Royal Gold and Relic Pick with 18" hickory handle. I shopped around via the internet for all the well known picks.
1. Garrett Retriever Pick ( too light duty for me but the price was good )
2. Apex Badger Pick ( really didn't like the way magnets protrude from the pick head )
3. Doc's Groundsquirrel Pick ( again protruding magnets )
And several other picks but only the Royal had the flush mounted magnets and it is built like a tank. This Royal pick digs deep without the ground hitting the magnets and limiting penetration into the ground like on some of the other picks.The shipping was another big factor as some of these other picks wanted $15 to $25 shipping where I paid $10. Some of the other picks were more money also even without shipping.
