Running a gpx with no ground balance

I'm not sure of the answers, but, I'm curious as to why you would want to? :icon_scratch:

i want to use it on the beach to find gold rings

How would running with no ground balance and/or a change in pulse delay help in that search?

i saw videos of tdi pro running with 0 ground balance, pulse delay of 10 and max gain, that's how i got the idea. Guess in gpx i can only change the timings like sharp, extra sens, normal...

I moved this find from Metal Detecting over to Minelab for more exposure.

Your only options for pulse delay adjustments are with the timings.... and being an experienced user of the GPX series detectors I see no reason why you would want to run one without the ground balance turned on. Its an easy thing to try though, just simply turn it off and see if its stable. If not, turn it back on and resume hunting. Note that as a general rule the GPX series machines are a bit deeper than the TDI anyway....

If you are able to make it work though, no doubt a bunch of us would love to hear your experience with it!
