Having only 4 remaining days off till the New Year, I'm taking every opportunity to dig.
It snowed a couple of inches last night but the ground hasn't yet frozen.
I'm experimenting with a variety of different settings on my Equinox and am gratified that regardless of my machinations the finds keep appearing.
Today's included the usual clad, 2 Wheats and a pretty little sterling and turquoise ring.
In park1 it rang mid 20's to 31 in the ground and low 20's with the plug out.
It was about 7 inches down.
If anyone recognizes the maker's mark , please let me know.
Happy Holidays to all.
Thanks for looking. 20191211_212550.webp20191211_212629.webp20191211_212651.webp20191211_145800.webp20191211_215008.webp

Great find on the Sterling ring. GL on a ID on the makers mark and some decent weather to continue hunting.

That's a nice piece

The maker's mark is from Bell Trading Post which was located in New Mexico. They sell sterling souvenirs to tourists. You can get info about the company online. I've dug a few of them myself. Nice find.
