It's early for the striped bass but I had to check out my "secret" spot. The water was lower than I have ever seen it. The boat I have is a outboard jet with a tunnel that allows me to run in less than 3" of level water. There are some older dump sites that are exposed and I have found some interesting stuff(junk) in the past. The site in the following pictures is only 50 or 60 years old. Mostly screw tops.

Thanks for taking us along!! I can imagine it has been murder waiting for the weather to be nice enough to get out there!

The last picture is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

If not fishing, then Treasure hunting will work, ;D, hope no one was in those pants.

I think it was a scare crow thing that some of the "housing challenged" people put up. It had a head, but it was sagging.

Actually, It's been great weather lately. That day was the cloudy-est it's been in a while. It still was in the 60's. I won't get big stripers in my hole until we get some releases of water out of Lake Oroville. When that happens, watch out! Big Fish! The waterfall is the same one as in my avatar.

Glad that was a 'scarecrow', my son has the 'striper bug now', he goes to lake Ouachita in AR, they catch some nice ones.
He wants to take me this summer, (an old Bass fisherman), maybe I can hold up.

Dang, you know how to do it Bigfish. Those outboard jets are the way to go on shallow rivers. If you keep it on plane, can't you go across water just a few inches deep?

Yes. Just don't stop!! That set-up gets me places very few boats can go. I use it to get to gold mining spots, nude beaches, and out in the bay, on calm days. Halibut season is coming I just remembered.
