I'm inclined to think it came off of a single tree. note the fitting in the middle.

Hey, my guess is a single tree. I find these parts on my place too. Plenty of work went on here during the old days, there will be more where that came from! Kinda like losing a trailer hitch part - cant pull the boat without it

This I believe would have attached to a yoke. I know it's farm related. It's definitely not a stir up. Just can't remember what they are called.
