Safari for nuggets

I realize there are dedicated detectors for nugget hunting. I use a Vaquero and GMT. My friend up north has a Minelab Safari and asked if it would work in the desert if he came down here to Arizona. Anyone try one down here?

It would find big clunker nuggets maybe. Definitely not a machine for finding small gold.

Sorry no. Would have to be a .22 sized nugget. The Minelab Safari is not a nugget machine.
