In case of an emergency the gov't has the right to keep the money that you have in the bank, plus the contents of your safe deposit box and even your vehicle...

Safety deposit boxes & Homeland Security

I wonder if the rules concerning this are published in the Federal Register? As far as the Govt taking property, the IRS has been doing it for years without a court order.
