Hi, I'm Chris and, yeah, from the Hoosier state. I joined up because I found something that interested me and couldn't figure it out. I found this rock and a few other pieces like it when taking a stroll and seen nothing like it before. So I done the smart thing and picked it up. It's glossy black and and has amber edges on one of its faces. The amber coloring is translucent. At first I thought it was slag glass, but not so certain after some research. Doesn't appear to be obsidian either. I dropped it once, it didn't break. Tried uploading the images but were too big, will do so at a later time....
