Salvaged gorget

I found this reworked gorget and 2 edge field scrapers in the same field. The forget has been ground flat on both ends and a x carved on reverse side

I viewed a complete gorget in an antique shop yesterday. Dealer also had many Midwestern points and a few complete blades.
Price on gorget was $126. Would like to have it, but I know nothing of Native American artifacts.
