Whew, we got some people that know your area better than me but that one looks like a western stemmed point and could be a hell of a find, is that a second slate blade?

It’s the same blade. I’ve been inspecting it more and believe it was also used as an Celt. I think I have the wrong end identified as the top.

That stemmed point looks like a Windust nice finds both points look old

looks like a great day in the field

Congrats on the great finds!

Great stuff!

Southfork, take a look at my previous post, A good hour. Anything you can tell me about the slate knife? This site is about a mile from where I pulled the Haskett.

That stemmed point is very nice. The chipped slate celt or knife is unique too. All great finds.

I’d be getting gps coordinates on that spot for future reference.

I’m going to have to dive to get to it if it ever rains out here again! It is usually under about 25’ of water.

Either way, I’d gos it. Never know when you might have a drought.

Nice finds CHUDs—quite a day-maker right there.

Nevada city area. Do you know anything about it? Age, etc?
Just that mariposa slate was used a lot in the foothills the Martis Cluster people loved slate / basalt / shale / schist 1000 BC to 650 AD

looks like you found base camp. That slate thing is cool, not sure I've ever seen anything like it.
