target # 1 1 gram gold nugget target #2 75 kilogram nugget both under 3 feet of salt water some heavy sand hot rocks unknown ....which detector finds more nuggets ? this is for the #1 yorker detector who knows these machines

Raw gold is a different animal than jewelry. It can be combined with bits of minerals like iron that would null a VLF. The PI might well pick that up ..... not because of the gold. The shark is running at what 24 uS? Thats normally a little larger piece of gold that some models that run at 15 uS. What was your settings on the Nox? Beach 2 has a couple of double whammys in the water...... salt setting, and manual says its already running at a reduced POWER.

dewcon4414 thank u for pointing this all out sounds like u have used a nox ....i never used a nox thats y am asking whats better on yankee nuggets (small) to java nugget (big ship size) ,,, so nox small targets better and sand shark deeper on the java size what i seen on a nickel they are the same ....i know terry knows the answer probably found the treasure at hells gate east river already with his nox

Hate to say this, but a 1-gram nugget will be missed by the Sand Shark completely. I sold my Sand Shark as soon as the Equinox became available. The Sand Shark was not built or intended to be a nuggetshooter. It is a straight-up saltwater SCUBA machine that is much more stable underwater than the Whites or Garrett competitors.

Beach PI machines are not good nugget hunters, none of them.

thanks terry for the info .....hows that nox in a area with layers of heavy sand is it better then the sand shark on a big target underwater .....let me point out am not hunting the east coast where the sand shark worked great on the beach ...new york and florida are garbage dumps thats y terry changed machines ...my problem is magnet sand ...joke ,,,,on this island the sand sticks to the coil its so HOT ....and the big nuggets have numbers on them .....so far what i heard sand shark wins ....mine lab 600 just for trash sites ,,,,well new york and florida lost its best beach cleaner due to minelab new tariff soon due to this fact .... joke ...make america clean again dont buy the 600
