Hi Everybody

Well I'm original from Texas, but for the last 20 years I have called Southern Mississippi my home. I have been into the Hobby for about 9 years now and really am still learning. I have owned several detectors from Whites, Troy, Tesoro, Garrett and Minelab. I mostly hunt on land and but would really like to get into the relic side of it. But being down here there wasn't much Civil War Action or Battles in southern Mississippi. So I'm kind of limited. I have found some pretty neat find in my 9 years of detecting.

Happy Hunting
Randy

Hiya Randy,

Great to see ya! I was just wondering what part of Southern Mississippi you're located. I quite sure there had to be some skirmishes in your area, check out the local libraries for info of the area. Not everything is on the www. Looking forward to seeing some posts & pics of your finds. Good Luck & Happy Hunting.

;) RR

Welcome to TNet Sand Sifter!!!

Mississippi huh? My wife's grandparents live in McComb. One of these days I'm gonna make it down there, hopefully not for a funeral (knock on wood).

Welcome,
SgtSki
