Hi Sandman I was talking to one of the dealers here in Hawaii and he is a dealer for many metal detecting companies. He suggested the Minelab Excalibur as his pick for water units over here in Hawaii, he offered me other brands but said that the Minelab would be the choice for him. He told me stories of people losing jewelry with lots of iron around and finding that piece of jewelry within all that iron. Lots of good examples has led me to believe that I am going with the Minelab Excalibur. But one more question and I think you answered it before is that my biggest problem here in Hawaii the "Hot Rock" issue!! You said that the Minelab doesn't pick them up is that the positive truth? If the answer is a positive yes then I am sold!! I have lots of places to look but the PI picks up those pesky things and gets in the way of finding the good stuff!! Well, I thank you for answering all of my posts and will be showing you what I hopefully find with that trusty Minelab in the near future! Aloha
