Here's a sash buckle I dug yesterday near Vicksburg. It appears to be a woman's buckle due to the design. But I'm not sure of the any other information of this type of buckle. I've been told this style is very old. But how old? Any information on this piece is appreciated.

Neat looking buckle.

That's a remarkable looking buckle. Sorry I can't help with any info.

It is a Victorian Era (1837 -1901) sash buckle, probably from the mid 1800's.
