Here are some miscellaneous finds from this past summer/fall. I will be sure to start posting more as I have begun to take pictures of my recent finds. All of the military finds are from a local fort which was commissioned just before the spanish american war. The bullets pictured were pinched at the end by american servicemen to prevent the native Americans from reusing the rimfire bullets against them. Also, the button pictured is an Indian War era cuff button (one of two that I found at the fort; the other will be posted at a later date) In addition, the disk with the eagle is a WW1 hat badge. By far the best find was this seated dime! my first one and a carson city! As this year was the first year the Chicago cubs won the world series (1876), I thought of it as a sign of our recent win! thanks for looking and go cubbies
