Found a nice new spot to hunt today. Turned out to be a beautiful day.
My wife and I started hunting around 8 am this morning. The finds were few and far between but turned out to be some pretty good stuff. Other than trash our first find was a 1919 Mercury Dime, my oldest Mercury to date.

The next item was a flat button that says Treble Gilt in Old English writing and then Colour in plain text with a number 29 below the shank.

The next item was another flat button that was coated in a dirty crust. Once I got home and cleaned it up it actually has alot of gilt still on it. The back is stamped Lewis & Tomes Treble Gilt. Button dates between 1820 - 1840ish.

Also, found some old rivets and a couple of pieces of squashed lead.
Here are some photos of the items cleaned.
