Saturday gold

Got up early this morning and headed to a old school and hunt for a hr but the ground was to dry and didnt want to damage the grass so head to the old street tearout to look for silver coins, first find was a shot musket ball and then got a 12-05 signal on recently paid off etrac (all mine) and to my surprise this came out at 3in s , It s stamped GAO 710 I thinking 10k ??.

710? Very strange number for gold. 750 is 18K, 416 is 10K and 585 is 14K

Looks like an older design, maybe foreign made. Would account for the 710.

Super big gratz on the elusive gold find!!! It might just be me, but when I zoomed in close on your first picture it appears that there could be a slight "k" mark after the 10...

Nice vintage looking ring. I agree with Urban, it looks like a K after the 10. Not sure what is between the GAO and the 10 though, doesn't look like a 7 to me on here, but you have the best view of it.
