Saturday hunt, a new first for me

Someone contacted our club to help find a ring that was lost around 30 years ago, land was being sold so there was a sense of urgency. Unfortunately, we did not find the ring but it was an 80 degree day in NC so it was a win. I did manage to find a few items, among them my first scout memorabilia.


From top left, moving clockwise...Scout neckerchief slide, toasted (but verified) IHP, hit and miss engine petcock, 2 wheaties, crossed cannon pin/button, two unidentified buttons.
