Went on a short CRH road trip this morning.

All told ended up buying $907 in half dollars.

Was dreaming of a repeat of my last small town CRH road trip, but that was not to be.

All told not too bad. (Enough silver gained to offset the cost of the gas for the car, plus a little.)

Oh and I almost got a 200 Shilingi from Tanzania (1998), but she wouldn't sell it to me since it was foreign.

The teller picked it out when she recounted the half dollar bag for accuracy. :P Though I didn't mind the 10 Car wash tokens she picked out (too bad she forgot 1).

Oh well, not worth much but coins from Africa are generally hard to come by.

Not bad. I'm gonna start hitting small towns soon, I'll be doing quite a bit of traveling within my state in the next month.

GMan....I think that is pretty good myself.....good job dude! Quite a few keepers for half a day....plus the Walker.....I don't know why I like those so much....ha! I think it is the design I guess.

Pretty good, but doesn't come close to my last small town road trip a couple of weeks ago (early Feb). One stop had 68 - 90% and 107 - 40% out of $211 dollars.

Was hoping for a repeat.

Though it did push my silver half total over 300 for the year.
