Saturday Morning Silver

Thunderstorms and showers were predicted so I was out the door at 6AM and on my way to a baseball field that I hadn't hunted since 2011. When I got there the old backstop was still standing but the infield was overgrown and there weren't any bases. Instead there were four soccer nets...…...soccer seems to be replacing baseball in a lot of places these days. I had two hours and fifteen minutes hunt time before having to leave for work and I made the most of it, digging 41 clad coins worth $6.74 and a 1946 silver Roosevelt Dime.

maybe breakfast at McD's…..everywhere else around here is expensive. Actually I spend all my clad at year's end on silver and gold.

Thanks RVR.....I wish I'd have had more time but there's always next time. I'll be back there in the near future.

Those coins are pretty clean, they must have been dropped recently.

Not so ! The photo was taken AFTER I cleaned and tumbled them. Silver comes out of the ground looking pretty good so it wasn't tumbled, just cleaned with a little toothpaste.

A silver day is always a good day. Ive found silver before a t storm it was a spill and I detected during and after the storm I was pretty pumped up. Good job keep rippin Tommy
