I found this on the internet so it must be true
It will take about 50, 5 gallon buckets filled with dirt to equal 1 ton. A 5 gallon bucket holds about 40 pounds of dirt, and 1 ton equals 2000 pounds.

That was a pretty good day. All the waters are too high to prospect right now but I hope to get out there soon. Get into some real good gold.
