I had grand visions for today's hunt. I had selected three good turn of the century houses to hunt, visions of barber and seated dimes, walkers etc. I was a little disappointed in the silver haul for the day. I usually find a bunch of silver dimes and maybe one or two big silvers today was backwards. Three silver quarters and only one rosie. Found some decent bling, a boyscout thing (anyone know the age?), some kind of music award, and three nice nickels (now that I know the sweet spot for them on the smartfind screen). One of the buffs actually has a date! 1920 and looks like it was dropped the day after it was minted. I think tomorrow I will head over to the old park and dig up all those nickel signals Ive Been passing over for years. Anyone know where gold coins hit on the explorer's smartscreen? ::) Isn't there one of you Cali guys who has 11? Share the wealth Cali guy :) Odd thing also, the boyscout thing and the music award are BOTH the second ones I have found ???

Great hunt! Please don't give us poor starving for silver hunters that, " I was a little disappointed in the silver haul for the day." LOL

I think your finds are really great. Love the music award and the rings.

Looks like a great day to me.

Appears some Captain has lost his bars! I'm sure they'll make him a major for that!

That's some great finds you got there, rebelt. On the Smartfind Screen the target cross-hairs for a gold coin will come in just to the right of pull tab and higher than the nickel area.

Got some great coins and some excellent bling!

That's the stuff we're looking for!

Congratulations!
