Does any one know what the law is reguarding detecting in the city on privite property?

You need permission to hunt any privately owned property no matter where it is. If it is city owned property you will need to see what the laws are.

Hi, as prior law enforcement in Georgia I can tell you that all land in Georgia is considered as No trespassing even if it isn't posted. The best thing you can do is get permission from land owner to keep yourself out of trouble..You need a hunting partner? let me know....Have fun..Mike...
