Went for a quick hunt this morning to one of the new sites we secured last week and walked away with an American silver...a rare treat north of the border!

Another object is a double loop copper alloy harness fiting.
The smaller loop is for attachment and the largert loop is a rein guide.
The later is designed to allow the free passage of any buckles fitted to the reins.

Yep...a gag loop...often confused with a sword hanger.

Looks like a fishing weight on the top and is that a sq. seal with S Y letters?

Yep, a net weight. Not sure what that is with the SY...but it is lead.
