does anyone know if solid copper wire or braided wire needs to be seperated? I assume it is all the same but want to make sure. Insulated is insulated I would think. I pulled about 15 pounds out of a dumpster today and want to make sure it is all the same. Thanks!

it doesnt have to be. but i would try, its worth more $$ striped

Braided or not its all copper.
If the insulation is heavier or theirs not to much copper just leave the insulation on and get paid for the plastic.
15 lbs? Nice haul

where i live, stripped copper is 2-1/2 times more valuable than insulated copper. It is much easier and practical to strip the larger gage wire.
