Saxon Gaming Piece Field - Day 6...

Plan A went out the window as the field that was promised to be stubble (& not planted) had been ploughed & looked to have a bean crop in it. They might just be volunteers from last year but I don't want to risk walking on the crop so I returned to the field Dad & I had been gridding.
As I only did 2 hours (on my own), I just walked around the half of the field we hadn't gridded.

Nothing very pretty but it creeps the totals up a bit:

5 Scrappies
2 Lead Tokens
17th C Token (Farthing)
Leather Mount
A Mystery Romano-Celtic? Piece. We have had similar, its bronze with a recessed top filled with red enamel, looks a bit like a locking pin.

Possibly a lock mechanism from a chest, I have a few now (various sizes but all similar) & I've not yet seen a proper ID anywhere.
