I dug this up last summer.A parfume flacon before 1850, made in France.
Heavy thick glas, lengh is 17,5 cm, existed with different cuts

There are no markings and no pontil.
A glas-collector book says it's french made and for one-way use.
Different lenghs would exsist.

That doesn't seem to be good marketing: expensive packaging with very little product inside. Any time I see cut glass, I assume that it is not a disposable piece. You did indicate that this little fiole was cut glass, didn't you?

Thank you. I've seen those cross-cut flacons at bottle shows, but always assumed that they were bottles for the purse to be refilled as necessary. What does the caption say?
