Crew was putting in a new gas line in my neighborhood. Big pile o' dirt. Found a bunch of bullets and a Schenkl fuse with the October 16, 1861 patent date still easy to read.
Beautiful day.. Civil War finds, what's not to like?

It's no telling what history we walk over every day that will never be found. Great job
 
very cool, the fuse is something that I would love to find. with all of that cool lead, you had a lot to be happy with my friend

Awesome stash of old civil war bullets and stuff. That gas line made a great and easy hunt for you.must have had their trench right beside an encampment.Dang,don't we all wish for a day like that?
