Feb 24 - The weather was the nicest feel of today. It was sunny with a cool breeze all day and this evening. I decided to detect the back and courtyard of my school. The school was built in ‘08 so I did’nt expect to find any old finds.

Detected for an 2 hours and these are my finds and photo of the evening. \/

x4 zincolns
x10 Dimes
x3 Nickels
x6 Quarters + Aluminum cap with “UNIVERSAL STUDIOS”

Looks like fun.

Hey Hunt, grats on a great day...im on vacation in Florida Panhandle and while the weather has been great the last couple days, the whole week has been overcast, FOGGY with constant strong winds. But anyhoo, I wandered away inland away from the beach, and wandered and wandered...until I FINALLY and somehow luckily happened upon a huge Sports Recreation Complex, Frank Brown Park. I walked around for awhile and spotted 2 LEO's in a parking lot, and told them I was from Ohio and what, if any policies (nothing against detecting on park rules sign) there were against detecting. He just smiled and said "No policies, have fun, go find some treasure!" Wow...COOL! This place was absolutely spotless, well groomed and clean, so I chose an out of the way parking area and proceeded to fill up the pouch with clad. Had a great time...everybody was nice including LEO! Our local Ohio PD should take congeniality lessons from these guys...Looks like we both had a great day...Ddf.

you never know until you ask but some people can be real jerks.

I am so envious. :BangHead: . The schools in my town (California) are surrounded by chain link fences and locked gates.

Is it an urban area school?
