Schools out for summer:icon_cheers: so its time to hit the Mega Play Ground (M.P.G.) again :metaldetector: I have a new pry-bar screwdriver which makes recoveries fun in this grass with very tough roots. I am using a slit and pry technique and am directing this with my pro-pointer, this works on like 28 out of 30 targets is my estimate and after target is recovered you just push everything removed back in the slit and push down a bit and the grass looks fine. The M.P.G. is well known for its coin spills. Today my biggest penny one had at least 14 pennies in it but get this, one of them was a 1941 wheat 8-) Had another spill out by basketball court two, consisted of two quarters a couple of dimes and two pennies not bad 8-) Near that I beeped up a cheap mandala ring which rang in at 12 to 13 conductive which seemed very nickel like.

Not a bad amount of coins for an afternoons hunt ya think?
Thanks for checking my digs out 8-)

Thanks vpnavy 8-)

Ok posting a picture update for the wheat cent. Abe looked naturally shiny but the rest was chocolaty and had green moss like splotches. Put it in some CLR to clean up for a hour or so and it came out with even color and the green crud was gone. Did little else after that, here is the picture.

Thanks, yeah its quite good for shallow item recovery but with a screwdriverthat has a good strong heavy shank and a great gripping handle I am getting stuff 5 inches down even maybe more at times.
