Took both my boys there this afternoon, to get some fresh air after my youngest just got over a Flu.

In less than 1 hour and only 25% of the swing-set area searched, found a dollar coin, 3 quarters, two dimes, a nickel, and 6 pennies. Also, a (silver plated?) Mickey Mouse-shaped earring set with 4 tiny semi precious stones and a "copy" 8-reale coin. Two of the quarters and the nickel are '67, '69 & '61 respectively, and were all found under the 6 inches of wood chips, and about 2-3 inches into the fill grade of the playground, or perhaps it was the natural ground, I dunno.

I was in the middle of excavating an apparent pocket-spill, into the ground, when my newly healed son said he "had to go." Maybe I'll get back out there and finish finding more '60s era coins in that hole... ;)

Hopefully you get back there soon. Hope your son is well.

Yea, we barely got back in time, too! He always waits until the last available moments to let anyone know, but this time was doubly urgent! Good thing we only live 3 minutes drive away!

I've been there..its, always on a long drive. I ask my son "do you have to go?" he always says no ,and about half hour in he "has to go" drives me nuts lol.. good job on your finds, now get back before someone else hits it!
